installation of q824145 fails with the message of "WEUpdate cannot retrieve information needed for setup from database." on attempt to install q811279 I get the very same response. installation of q824145 reports missing SP1, while installation of SP1 reports that SP1 has already been installed (for it was - I can see it in the registry or About window in MSIE etc). -- generally, my problem is that I've just restored an image of my disk, but the msie version seems to be old (6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920), I've got a feeling there should be xpsp2 in the version number, but I don't know what to install to get it there.
