Hi, I am using the XPe with SP1 Evaluation suite. Using MSDE 8.00.761. The development machine is XP Prof SP1. i am trying to apply QFE 811279 but get the following error; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- QFE Installer Error A new platform object needs to be installed before this update can be installed. Please download the latest platform update from www.microsoft.com/embedded and install it before attempting to install this QFE Setup cannot continiue I need to apply this fix so that I may then apply subsequent fixes. Searches of the web have shown that others have had this problem but I can't find a satisfactory solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Robin
