 It’s a pleasure to inform you that MDS Pacific and Microsoft are once again bringing you the latest in Windows Embedded technologies with our new FREE Windows Embedded Standard 7 Technical Workshop Seminar on Friday the 25th of November 2011. This is a FREE Windows Embedded Technical Workshop Seminar and will be held on Friday the 25th of November in our Sydney office. We would like to encourage you to come along and learn about the latest in Windows Embedded Technologies to help you build more advanced systems, delivering greater power, reliability and rich multimedia features that will ⓢetyour systems apart from the competition. Come along to learn about Windows Embedded Standard 7 Learn how to build smarter, more connected and service-oriented devices by leveraging Windows 7 Technologies. Summary 1 day hands on Workshop (9am – 5pm, lunch provided) where you gain experience with Windows Embedded Standard 7 and its tools. Bring a laptop with 20 GB of free HDD space, so that you can run the workshops hands on. Presenter This one day course will be presented by Jason Tolley, with many years of embedded knowledge in various flavours of Windows embedded. Target Audience If you’re building a 32-bit X86 or 64-bit X64 based device with Windows 7, but would like better control over the operating systems image size, what features are included, and how to build an embedded image quickly. Ideally suits for Digital Signage, Kiosks, Factory automation solutions, POS solutions, Test and Measure, and Monitoring and control devices.

• Target Analyzer Probe (TAP)
• Image Build Wizard (IBW)
• Image Configuration Editor (ICE)
• Windows PE Deploying a raw image to bootable media
• Distribution shares
• Packages and Templates Customizing the operating system image in both IBW and ICE
• Adding features and services, customizing the user experience
• Configuring the Embedded Enabling Features (EEF`s) such as the Write Filters to enable operation from solid state media
• Adding third party drivers and applications
• Configuring the image for remote access and security and cloning
• Tools etc, Ex. ImageX and SysPrep
