Summary

This is a 1 day hands on Workshop (9am – 5pm, Lunch & Morning Tea provided) where you gain experience with Windows Embedded Standard 7 and its tools.

 

Presenter

This one day course will be presented by Jason Tolley, with many years of embedded knowledge in various flavours of Windows embedded. 

 

Target Audience

If you’re building a 32-bit X86 or 64-bit X64 based device with Windows 7, but would like better control over the operating systems image size, what features are included, and how to build an embedded image quickly. Ideally suits for Digital Signage, Kiosks, Factory automation solutions, POS solutions, Test and Measure, and Monitoring and control devices.

 

Pre-Requisites:

You must bring a working Windows laptop with its power adaptor.  You will be connecting your laptop to a server to acquire all the development tools and utilities that you need.  No spare laptops or workstations will be available.  Participants are required to have a basic knowledge of computer hardware terms and be competent with the Windows user interface and Windows desktop operating system.
