Dear All, This is my first project of XPe SP1, my task is to develop a headlss, small foot print Xpe OS which will automatically launch an application(.exe), which was written manually by our company software engineer using Visual Basic6. i follow the procedure in exercise 24(creating ReggieShell) form the book Windows XP Embeddd Advance by Sir Sean to config the application as a shell component with Minlogon, but it did not launch. I tried again to add my application as a component (software application) but it seem like i got some problem to capture the registry key so there is an error during i double click the aplication .exe in my image. The weird thing is i can run the application after i copy the application(.exe and all supporting dll) to the image after first boot, but that one is not my purpose. Would it be easier if i use those pre-defined Shell (e.g. Explorer or Command promt) to call my aplication at start up? what is the best way to identified the correct registry to add? another small quastion, why my image(using Explorer) cannot read content from CD from a identified CD-Rom?
