ComputerLab International (CLI) has introduced a new thin client terminal with wireless capabilities based on Microsoft's Windows CE .NET operating system. CLI's new model ET5000 supports 802.11b (Wi-Fi) wireless LANs, legacy parallel printers, stereo sound, and also serial port and USB port device connectivity. The devices are used in conjunction with server platforms including Windows, Citrix, IBM mainframe, IBM AS/400e, UNIX, as well as web browser-based applications via Ethernet, fast Ethernet, or dial-up.
