Microsoft launches `Windows Hardware and Driver` resource portal No. 83

Microsoft has launched a new online resource to help developers of hardware and software for Windows-based platforms find what they need. Information is categorized according to design, develop, qualify, test, and sustaining programs.

Microsoft says its new portal, Windows Hardware and Driver Central (WHDC), aims to become the prime resource for system and device manufacturers, driver developers, and other professionals who create products that run with the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems,

In addition to providing new tools and content, the portal provides links to information available on six different Microsoft sites including Windows Platform Development, Driver Development Kits, Windows Hardware Quality Labs, Designed for Windows Logo Program, Windows Hardware Engineering Conference, and Hardware Driver Quality.
