WinCE build improvement method

The wince build speed is too slow, probably if the multi core cpu is used, is the build speed improved? Or, is it more affected by the only clocks of cpu? For Linux, when building at the compile option for the number of threads used being two or so/core, or dual core when the 4 pieces of thread are designated, and for the quad core when the 8 pieces of thread are designated, the build speed will surely be fast, probably is there such an option at the wince? Even though there may be such an option it would be a problem to be affected by OS used at PC, build environment. For the linux as the os itself has been developed from the initial stage considering the multi processor the thread load balancing with no problems with multi core is made, for the commonly used winxp I don’t know how much the consideration into multi processor has been made. Unless XP makes the thread load balancing at multi core, even there may be an option to designate the number of thread at ce compiler it would be of no use.
