Dear Experts, This is our initial encounter with anything Embedded. We are using the Embedded XP Evaluation version to test our concepts. But it seems that we are unable to get pass the first hurdle. Our plan was to create a core embedded system with the PMQ file and incorperate our software into it. The followings were what we did: 1. RUN the target analyser on the machine we intend to install Embedded OS. 2. using the PMQ file from the previous run, we import it into the Target Designer and we subsequently added components we think necessary for our application. 3. We then tan the dependencies check and build the OS. 4. Preparation was done to create the boot for target machine with the bootprep. And the "OS" was copied from the embedded image directory to the target machine. Here comes the issue. When we started the target machine previous built by the Target Designer, it ran into BLUE SCREEN DUMP, reporting the there were BAD_CONFIG or device is not working. 1. Can anyone tell us what we did that is not correct? 2. Is there anymore sources where we could get more information that will give us more information. Thanks in advance for the help! Chris
